Question: Is my data secure?

It is critical for any church or organisation to have proper Enterprise-grade security. Planted Church follows industry best practice with hardened security.

  • All data is encrypted-at-rest
  • All access to Planted Church is via Secure HTTP (HTTPS)
  • All logins go through a secure third party authentication provider (Auth0)
  • Churches only have access to profiles within their groups
  • Planted Church strives to abide by all constraints of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Question: Where is my data stored?

As a cloud service, we understand that some may find the jump into the cloud daunting. We want you to feel secure about where we hold your data.

  • All data is held within Microsoft Azure
  • Currently, all data is held in Europe
  • Other data centres may be used in the future - talk to us if you're interested in this

Question: How can I get my data in and out?

We understand that this isn't our data, it's yours. So you can get it in and out any time you need.

  • Data can be entered through your portal
  • Data can also be imported by using an API
  • Data can be exported in JSON format

Question: When did Planted Church launch?
